VIVID FACES

This has happened to me a lot when I was little. I would be in bed at my dads' and just as I closed my eyes to sleep I would see a vivid image of a corpse-like face smiling at me. But this only happened at my dads' house. And that was when I was little. I hadn't experienced anything like that since then until we moved into my new apartment and I was lying in bed and I closed my eyes and saw this old lady's face and her flesh was melting off of her face as if she was being severely burned and I quickly opened my eyes and was afraid to close them again for a while. These faces are so vivid and real. It feels like I could reach out and touch them and feel them if I wanted to. But it startles me so much that I open my eyes right after I see it. It's kind of hard to explain. Apparently my dads' house is "haunted" according to them. (Yes I have two dads) But in this apartment I haven't experienced any negative energy except for when I saw that old lady. I don't think that this place is haunted either. Does anyone know what this could be? Perhaps a psychological thing or a "quick" dream or something. Or maybe even a spirit.(even though I don't think this place is haunted but I would like to hear anything that could shed some light on this subject.) I have experienced a lot of "weird" things in my life. Our old house, oh I don't even want to go there, but anyway My mother's side of the family has had lots of experiences with "spirits" or "ghosts"..but yeah...any thoughts? Oh and I also almost failed to mention that I am Bi-Polar but I have been on meds for years and I'm quite "normal" with them. Perhaps it could be my meds? But its so rare when it happens, I mean this is the first time I have seen something like this since I was little. Plus it seems so real! And it always happens unexpectedly. I don't know maybe I am crazy. I guess I'm just looking for reassurance that I'm not going nuts, reassurance that it's not all in my head... Let me know what you think, could this be something "supernatural"? Please let me know what you think.
