Native American Spirits

One night last summmer, me and my husband were camping in an area well known for its Native American history. It was about 3 or 4 am when we heard drums coming from the woods, like a lot of people playing drums. We could hear them clear as day. Creeped us out. Very strange...any thoughts?

Sounds strange, maybe there was a group of hippies camped out near you?

No way it was like 4AM

Another odd thing about it is how it faded in then faded away..you would have had to be there it was weird drums don't just fade away like that...like someone turning down a radio and it was only for a couple of mins. Didn't hear it the rest of the night..er..morning..lol and that same night we had all sorts of creatures coming to our campsite. I doubt that has anything to do with it but still I saw a red fox up close and personal. We fed it chicken lol ^.^

Oh an it wasin't fading away as if someone was walking further from us with drums. It faded in the same way..quiet at 1st then clear as say then faded away again. Like I said it was like someone was turning up and down the radio. Plus it was coming from the deep woods...it was pitch black and the brush was very thick. I don't know how someone could even see to play to drums. let a lone walk in the woods in the pitch black we didn't see any lights at all...
